Armoury House looks fabulous, dressed in digital graphics and animation by Projection Artworks. Success depends on the dark skies of course, always a challenge near mid-summer’s day, but the results are spectacular. This creative and experimental work was done as the centrepiece for the National Advertising Benevolent Society Stranger than Summer Fundraising Ball. The work was deliberately created under pressure, in just 10 hours. One wonders what the original 18th century builder, Thomas Stibbs, would have thought… To check out the video of the various projections, motion graphics and 3D animations see here.
